[Genesis Radio HQ] – [March 12th, 2025] – What started as a minor disagreement over Fleetwood Mac’s lineup has now erupted into a full-scale rebellion, with Brice fortifying his position inside Genesis Radio HQ, commandeering the station’s backup broadcast system, and openly threatening a full-blown Traffic coup.
“I will not be ignored,” Brice declared over the station’s emergency backup transmitter, his voice echoing across the airwaves. “Dave Mason was in Fleetwood Mac, and if Genesis Radio refuses to acknowledge his contributions, I have no choice but to take drastic action.”
Listeners, previously excited for March of the Mac, are now terrified.
“I just wanted to hear Gypsy,” one fan tweeted. “Now there’s some kind of hostage situation at the station.”
THE PROTEST MUTATES INTO AN OCCUPATION
Brice’s breakroom takeover has now expanded into a full-scale studio occupation.
His new demands include:
🔥 A full hour of Dave Mason airtime every Friday.
🔥 A “Fleetwood Mac Guest Members Memorial Hour” dedicated to every forgotten bandmate, including Mason, Bekka Bramlett, and that one time Billy Burnette happened.
🔥 A lifetime ban on referring to “Time” as “that weird ‘90s Mac album.”
🔥 Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits album being temporarily renamed “Fleetwood Mac & Also Dave Mason.”
Brice has armed himself with station equipment, including:
🔊 A portable PA system, which he is now using to blast “Feelin’ Alright” into the parking lot at ear-shattering volume.
📡 Control over the auxiliary broadcast feed, threatening to insert Dave Mason songs into the playlist at random.
🥤 Complete control of the vending machine, forcing staff to negotiate under extreme snack-deprivation conditions.
🚨 WORST OF ALL: Brice has somehow hacked into the station’s request system—if listeners type in a Fleetwood Mac request, they now receive an auto-response reading: “WOULD YOU PREFER DAVE MASON INSTEAD?”
Chaos reigns.
GENESIS RADIO STRUGGLES TO REGAIN CONTROL
Inside the station, Doc, DJ Pisces, and DJ Barb are holed up in the control room, desperately attempting to stop Brice’s relentless Masonification of the station.
“He’s gaining too much power,” DJ Pisces whispered, eyes darting toward the flashing red “DAVE MASON INCOMING” alert on the playlist monitor.
“We can’t just give in,” Doc muttered, frantically overriding Brice’s signal hijack attempt. “If we let him win now, next thing you know, he’ll be demanding a full Traffic retrospective.”
Attempts to physically remove Brice have failed.
- Security was called—but Brice distracted them by playing a rare demo version of “Only You Know and I Know,” sending them into a trance.
- DJ Barb attempted to reason with him—but was turned away after Brice handed her a 5,000-word manifesto titled “Why Dave Mason Deserved More Than One Fleetwood Mac Album.”
- Brice has reportedly barricaded himself inside the booth with stacks of Traffic vinyls, two weeks’ worth of snacks, and a whiteboard filled with detailed battle plans labeled “Genesis Mason Phase 2.”
🚨 NEW THREAT: If Genesis Radio doesn’t meet Brice’s demands soon, he has threatened to replace the final March of the Mac broadcast with three hours of Dave Mason deep cuts.
“You wouldn’t dare,” Doc said in horror.
“Try me.” Brice responded.
THE FINAL SHOWDOWN: GENESIS RADIO vs. THE MASONVERSE
With tensions at an all-time high, Genesis Radio has called for an emergency DJ council meeting to decide how to handle Brice’s uprising.
Proposed countermeasures include:
✔️ Granting Brice a single Dave Mason deep cut—but it must be snuck into the setlist “like a thief in the night.”
✔️ Engaging in psychological warfare by loudly playing “Big Love” on a loop until he surrenders.
✔️ Attempting to cut the power to his booth—but risking the wrath of whatever supernatural force allows him to remain in control.
✔️ Negotiating a truce by promising a one-time-only “Fleetwood Mac’s Forgotten Members” tribute… which will conveniently be scheduled at 3 AM when no one is listening.
As of now, Brice remains defiant, screaming Fleetwood Mac historical inaccuracies over the intercom while holding what appears to be the station’s emergency broadcast key hostage.
Genesis Radio is on the brink.
Will March of the Mac survive?
Will Brice go too far and attempt a full Traffic takeover?
Or will Genesis Radio outmaneuver him and restore Mac Order?
