Genesis Radio Contest Terms and Conditions

By participating in the “Follow & Boost to Win” contest (the “Contest”) hosted by Genesis Radio (“we,” “our,” or “us”), participants (“you” or “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Contest is open to individuals aged 18 or older at the time of entry.
1.2 Employees of Genesis Radio, their immediate family members, and anyone directly involved with the Contest are not eligible to participate.
1.3 Participants must have a valid Mastodon account and must follow the Genesis Radio Mastodon account to qualify.
2. Contest Period
2.1 The Contest begins on [1/16/2025] and ends at [1/25/2025], [9pm EST]. Entries submitted outside this time frame will not be considered.
3. How to Enter
3.1 To enter the Contest, participants must:
Follow Genesis Radio’s Mastodon account (@GenesisRadio).
Boost the Contest announcement post.
3.2 Bonus entries may be granted for replying to the announcement post with your favorite song or artist. (1 entry per boost/follow and an additional entry for the response to the announcement. Existing followers at the time of contest initiation will automatically receive one point, as well as an additional point for boosting, and an additional point for replying. You may only attain 3 points maximum, in other words, you can’t boost multiple toots and keep getting entries.
3.3 No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
4. Prize
4.1 One (1) winner will receive a $25 DoorDash gift card.
4.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 The winner will be selected at random from eligible participants who meet the entry requirements.
5.2 The winner will be notified via Mastodon direct message within 5 business days after the Contest ends.
5.3 If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, they forfeit the prize, and another winner will be selected.
6. Privacy
6.1 By entering the Contest, you consent to Genesis Radio using your Mastodon username and any content submitted as part of your entry for promotional purposes.
6.2 Your personal information will only be used for administering the Contest and will not be sold or shared with third parties.
7. Disqualifications
7.1 Genesis Radio reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms or engages in fraudulent activities.
8. Liability
8.1 Genesis Radio is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or errors that may occur during the Contest.
8.2 By participating, you release Genesis Radio from any claims, liabilities, or damages related to the Contest or the prize.
9. Changes to the Contest
9.1 Genesis Radio reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time for any reason.
9.2 Any changes to the Contest will be communicated on Genesis Radio’s Mastodon account.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction].
