Genesis Radio Contest Terms of Service

By participating in any contest, giveaway, or promotion (“Contest”) hosted by Genesis Radio (“Station,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all participants (“Entrants,” “you,” or “your”). Failure to comply with these Terms may result in disqualification.
1. Eligibility
1.1. Contests are open to legal residents of the continental United States, who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of entry, unless otherwise stated. 1.2. Employees of Genesis Radio, its affiliates, sponsors, advertising or promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. 1.3. Contests are void where prohibited by law.
2. Entry Rules
2.1. Entry methods vary per contest and will be outlined in specific contest announcements. 2.2. Only one entry per person per contest is allowed unless otherwise specified. 2.3. Entries must be submitted before the contest deadline. Late, incomplete, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. 2.4. No purchase or payment is required to enter or win unless otherwise stated.
3. Winner Selection & Notification
3.1. Winners will be selected based on the criteria outlined in each contest announcement (e.g., random drawing, judging panel, first correct answer, etc.). 3.2. Winners will be notified via the contact method provided during entry (e.g., email, phone, or social media message). 3.3. If a winner fails to respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected. 3.4. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be provided unless explicitly stated.
4. Prizes & Fulfillment
4.1. Prizes will be detailed in the specific contest announcement. 4.2. If a physical prize is awarded, the winner must provide a valid shipping address. Shipping costs (if applicable) will be covered by Genesis Radio, unless otherwise stated. 4.3. Genesis Radio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged prizes after they have been shipped. 4.4. If a prize is digital (e.g., gift card, promo code), it will be delivered via email or another electronic method.
5. Publicity & Rights
5.1. By entering a contest, you grant Genesis Radio the right to use your name, likeness, voice, and submitted content (if applicable) for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. 5.2. Any content submitted for contests (e.g., photos, videos, writings) must be original and must not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. Disqualification & Fraud Prevention
6.1. Genesis Radio reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Terms, or engages in fraudulent activities. 6.2. Automated, bot, or mass entries will be disqualified. 6.3. Contest entries deemed inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful will be rejected.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. By participating in a contest, you agree to release Genesis Radio, its affiliates, and sponsors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation or acceptance of any prize. 7.2. Genesis Radio is not responsible for technical failures, human errors, or acts beyond its control that may affect contest operations.
8. Changes & Termination
8.1. Genesis Radio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any contest without prior notice in cases of unforeseen circumstances. 8.2. We may update these Terms at any time, and continued participation in contests constitutes agreement to any changes.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
9.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York. 9.2. Any disputes arising from contests will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New York.
